Zero euro

The 0-euro is a souvenir banknote authorised by the European Central Bank (ECB) and has recently become increasingly popular among paper money collectors. The production of the 0-euro started in France in 2015, when Richard Faille, a maker of popular French souvenir coins, decided to start printing euros to promote tourism. The banknotes are printed in a private printing press and, although they bear many similarities to the real euro, they cannot be used as a means of payment. All 0-euro banknotes have the same obverse. It shows a white zero followed by the euro symbol, hence their name. The 0-euro has no monetary value!
